Recipient of the prestigious N.A.T.O. ShowEast Star of the Year Award (1995) and the Star of Tomorrow Award (1995), Christina Ricci has established herself as one of the hottest young actresses in the business. She made her professional acting debut in the film Mermaids in the pivotal role of Cher's youngest daughter and Winona Ryder's sister.
Ricci continued to mesmerize audiences and critics alike as "Wednesday Addams" in both The Addams Family and its sequel, Addams Family Values. She then went on to star in several popular films including, Casper, Gold Diggers: The Secret of Bear Mountain, Now and Then, and That Darn Cat. Christina was critically applauded for her role in Ang Lee's The Ice Storm in which she is one of an impressive ensemble cast including Sigourney Weaver, Kevin Kline, Joan Allen, Tobey Maguire and Elijah Wood.
Continuing to move towards more adult roles, Ricci recently starred in Donald Roos' The Opposite of Sex, Vincent Gallos' Buffalo 66 and Terry Gilliam's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. She recently completed production on Desert Blue and 200 Cigarettes.
