JULIA LOUIS-DREYFUS (Leslie) received four Emmy Award nominations and a Golden Globe among many other honors for her role in NBC-TV's "Seinfeld." In 1996, she won the Emmy as Best Performer in a Comedy Series for her work on the show.

Julia was born in New York City, raised in Washington, D. C., and studied theater at Northwestern University. In Chicago, she performed with the Practical Theater Company and the world-renowned Second City comedy troupe, which led to an invitation to join the ensemble cast of NBC-TV's Saturday Night Live. She remained with the program for three years.

Julia's film credits include Woody Allen's "Hannah and Her Sisters," "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," "Jack the Bear," "North" and "Fathers' Day." In 1996, she co-starred with Kelsey Grammer in the television adaptation of Neil Simon's "London Suite."

Julia Louis Dreyfus is currently featured as Clairol's Nice and Easy Girl.
